ABOUT US
The Northern Ohio Italian American (NOIA) Foundation is the region’s premier organization dedicated to supporting the community in ways that celebrate Italian heritage. The organization is comprised of passionate Italian Americans, including distinguished leaders, whose reach extends to the highest levels of business, community and philanthropy.
PHILANTHROPY
NOIA's dedication to philanthropy has remained strong since the Foundation's inception over 25 years ago. In recent years, the NOIA Legacy Fund was created to fulfill our mission to preserve our Italian heritage and support initiatives associated with our Italian American ideals. The program’s five strategic funding initiatives are education, Italian parishes, Italian culture, Little Italy, and project/impact grants.
MEMBERSHIP
We cordially invite those with Italian heritage and passion and love for Italy to become a part of our growing organization. Membership is extended to all individuals and businesses interested in helping the people and causes of the Italian-American community in Northern Ohio. Our member benefits provide something for everyone, including networking opportunities, community engagement, cultural events, and educational talks.
Candidates for membership go through an application process and require a sponsoring member. We encourage anyone interested in joining to attend our Prospective Member events to meet our members and learn more about our Foundation.
EVENTS
By joining NOIA, you will be invited to all events. We invite members to regularly scheduled events, which include social outings, volunteer opportunities, unique cultural experiences, our Annual Meeting & Dinner, and many more activities that are exclusive to our organization. Members are welcome to bring guests or prospective members to select events.
NOIA often hosts events open to non-members and the community as well. Please check our upcoming events page!
